This boat has been designed, built and tested in full compliance with the requirements of Part 1 of MSC.81(70) Revised Recommendation on Testing of Life-saving Appliance as amended by MSC.226(82), MSC.274(85), MSC.321(89)and MSC.323(89), Regulations 21, 31 and 34, Chapter Ⅲ of International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, as Amended., and Chapter IV and V of MSC.48(66) International Lifesaving Appliance Code, as amended by MSC.218(82), MSC.272(85) and MSC.320(89). 5.5 Meters open type FRP lifeboat is a more economical series, which can meet the needs of general life-saving purposes, and is more suitable for offshore and inland waterway navigation of passenger and cargo ships.
