The hull is made of fire-retardant FRP, the surfaces for personnel to walk on are non-slip. The boat is equipped with a hand pump for removing stagnant water from the boat, a stainless steel hook system - which can be lowered or recovered by means of a davit rope. The boat can sail for more than 24 hours at full speed with a full load, and its speed can be up to more than 6 knots. The boat has two specifications: common type and fire-protected type, in which the fire-protected type lifeboat is equipped with sprinkler system, which is driven by the main engine pump to extract seawater from the lowest part of the boat to ensure that no flammable liquid enters into the system, and the sprinkler system can provide enough water to be sprayed on the surface of the boat; the fire-protected type lifeboat is also equipped with an air supply system, which can provide enough air to meet the needs of all the crew and the full-speed operation of the diesel engine at least for 8 minutes, and creates an overpressure inside the boat to prevent the ingress of poisonous and harmful gases.
