On the afternoon of Friday, May 24, 2024, the "Ship and Sea Equipment Design and Selection VR Comprehensive Promotion Association" (referred to as the "Promotion Association") successfully held its 2024 member conference in Shanghai, with the theme of "Advancing Together, Creating the Future, and Developing Together". This conference is hosted by Tianhai Integrated Defense Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Tianhai Defense), organized by marine workers, and strongly supported by the Shanghai Society of Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering, Jiangsu Shipbuilding Industry Association, Guangdong Society of Shipbuilding Engineering, and the International Ship Management and Maritime Services Branch of the Shanghai International Shipping Center Development Promotion Association.

Our company, as a member unit of the Promotion Association, was invited to participate in this meeting. At the meeting, the President of the Promotion Association/Chief Engineer of Tianhai Defense, Xun Zheng, delivered a speech. In his speech, he thanked all parties for their support and assistance, emphasized the theme and significance of this conference, and called on participants to jointly explore the development path of shipbuilding and shipping industry. He stated that with everyone's support and participation, the "Promotion Association" will definitely play its role, and together with everyone, contribute to the high-quality development of the shipping and shipbuilding industry by being able to do things, accomplish things, and do good things. At the same time, it is also proposed that China's shipbuilding industry is rapidly transforming and upgrading towards the direction of "green, intelligent, and environmentally friendly" development. The quality and technical level of domestically produced ships and related equipment products continue to improve, gradually attracting attention and recognition from domestic and foreign ship owners. In order to promote the localization development of the shipbuilding industry, strengthen communication and cooperation between shipowners, shipyards, and ship design institutes, and lead the development of downstream equipment matching, the "Shipowner Shipyard Design Industry Supply and Demand Exchange Dialogue" activity was jointly held. The purpose of this event is to explore the requirements of shipowner companies for equipment product procurement, the recognition of domestically produced equipment products, and their application in ship design and selection, while also paying attention to industry development trends. The on-site guests and experts had a lively exchange, discussing a wide range of topics. The experts also provided in-depth answers to the questions raised by the guests, jointly exploring improvement measures and future development directions to promote the upgrading of the domestic industry.

It is worth mentioning that the conference also held a ceremony to announce the addition of members and a ceremony to issue membership certificates. Liu Jun, Vice President of the Promotion Association and Chairman of Shanghai Hailufeng Marine Valve Co., Ltd., announced the list of members added to the Promotion Association in 2024. Vice President Limin and Secretary General Zhang Chang presented membership certificates to several companies, including Taizhou Zhonggang Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., which are members of the board of directors.

The successful holding of this conference has received active participation and support from experts, guests, and member units from all walks of life in the industry, providing suggestions and recommendations around the theme of China's shipbuilding and shipping industry moving towards green, intelligent, and environmental protection, injecting new impetus and vitality into the progress and development of the industry, and jointly promoting the shipbuilding industry towards a better tomorrow.
